A few days after obtaining the charging cable we went to Mexico and my boost cable worked perfect. I had no issues with charging my iPhone and the charge was unbelievably quick. I left my device was properly protected and the cable length is great. We cut the cable cord last spring 2017 from Comcast - except for their high-speed internet service. We purchased the NetGear CM1000 for this was one of the fastest modems and was on Comcast's '˜yes' list. We made right choice. In addition to our house being hardwired (CAT5 & 6) we are primarily WiFi throughout. We stream all of our TV's and internet with very little to no lag. Sure, depending on the weather and other things out of our control - streaming and internet access can bog down, and when that happens - we plug in and go hard-wire. This thing is stupid fast and we coupled it the NetGear NightHawk X4S R7800 Smart Wireless Router which is crazy fast too. 5 |

I'm using this with a MacBook Pro (15-inch 2017) running macOS 10.15.7. I replaced a USB hub dongle, a DisplayPort hub dongle, and a charging cable with a single ThunderBolt 3 cable to this dock. MUCH easier to pack up my laptop when I need to go, and re-connect my laptop when I come home. 5 |

I wanted to use my 2012 27in iMac as a second monitor with my new 2017 iMac. Plugged this adapter in to my 2017, and then used a thunderbolt cable to run from that to my 2012. Now I have a great 2nd monitor. 5 |
