Best Mesh Wireless Router For Large Home

I've gotten this router not only for home but also for the worksite where I work (church). This combined with a mesh system makes for one very powerful and functional wireless network for usage. It is costly but worth every penny compared to all the others out there. Buy or buy not. If you chose not, good luck on your wireless routing. If you choose yes, be prepared to have a very NICE wireless router. And yes, it even comes with all kinds of Unicorn Poop (LEDs) for those who love to have color options too.

We have a large, two story home and needed a mesh system for coverage. I had two older ASUS routers but needed an upgrade for the central router. The GT-AXE 16000 proved to be an outstanding main router and the ASUS software made it a breeze to set up the mesh system. My game room is as far away from the main router as possible, just because that is where the spare room is, and the combination gives me blazing speeds for streaming games.

Replaced a 6 year old linksys wireless router with this unit. My first time with a mesh system. Setup was very easy. All devices connected quickly. Internet throughput is so much better with this unit. I am using Verizon 5G home internet with this router. Getting nearly 300 mbps download consistently. I get a strong wifi signal all over my house (3300 sq ft) and outside. I am very happy with this unit.

Synology makes setting up this mesh router fairly simple. Power it on next to your router, use the DS router app and you're up and running in about 15 minutes. I have four of them and they are all wired. So make sure you follow the instructions and connect it wirelessly to the router first, then take it where you want on the network and plug it in. The ability to add a dozen of the MR2200's to my router means that I can create a reliable and fast wireless network that rivals my wired network in terms of square footage and then go beyond the building. My wireless devices automatically drop and connect as I move around. I could not be happier with this device because it is reliable and the range meets all my needs. I have no complaints from my network users.

Our large, sprawling, historic home has defeated every attempt to provide decent wi-fi across the entire house and property. The author had a house with challenges similar to my own, so I decided to give it a try. I had another mesh router system still in the box that I was going to install before calling a commercial networking service, but went ahead and ordered two mesh routers and the RT2600AC. After all the updates were processed the set up was easy and intuitive. I have always dreaded setting up a new router and network but this was unbelievably simple. We have been putting it to a huge test for the past month and nothing has dropped, speed is great. I'm a fan.
