It was close before calibration and perfect after. Size is plenty for my level of photo editing using with my laptop screen.

14" is the right size for me as I move about the house using the laptop in various rooms. It is my primary photo editing computer as well as the one I use for financial transactions. It has enough processing power for my tasks and it is big enough but still light and portable. I replaced an older 16" which could not handle my photo editing tasks well enough and was a little to big to sit on my lap and work comfortably.

I’m not a gamer, I’m a photographer and I didn’t want to spend thousands for a laptop marketed for photo editing. I called BH to find out if I had other options. The sales person aimed me towards this machine. I absolutely love it! The performance of the processor is exactly what I needed. The display is beautiful. It has certainly sped up my work flow. I'm happy with this laptop. I use this for photo editing and while the screen is good, sharp and colors OK, I'll buy a bigger monitor for my work. Also I'll soon get more RAM as 16gb is frankly not enough. I use it on AC/DC but I've noticed that battery life is around 4 hours browsing the internet and watching videos. I'm glad with this Lenovo laptop and like the Vantage software too, to keep my software and drivers up to date.

I was having trouble moving from pc to apple laptop when doing photo editing in particular. The Magic Mouse allows me to be more precise in my movements. Love it!
