Best Middle School Teacher Supplies

As a middle school science teacher, I wanted to take pictures of the night sky - especially the moon's phases - to show my students. To do this I had purchased a large telephoto and when I mounted the camera with this large lens to a tripod it was almost impossible to keep the celestial object positioned within the frame. Because the camera and not the lens was being supported, the combination was really unbalanced. I am a musician and a teacher. A friend of mine has one of these and when I found out about it, had to have it. This cart can hold everything I use, from music equipment and instruments to teaching supplies. It folds out or away easily and rolls with no effort at all. The cart fits perfectly in my car, even extended. It's a little workhorse. After struggling for years with handcarts, this 8 in 1 transporter is the answer to a prayer.

I am a graphics teacher at the high school level. We usually go through a few of the cheap tripods each year... plastic breaks, aluminum legs bend, stuff happens. I am now done replacing them because I plan on only buying these tripods. They are incredibly strong, have great build quality, and are extremely versatile. Being able to switch from portrait to landscape is very handy. It is a little on the heavy side, but I think that makes it stronger and more stable. The ballhead is smooth, and only requires one hand to reposition. I really like how the quick-release plate can snap in without touching the tripod, and it is square, so there is no right or wrong direction to put it on.

I am a teacher with an older model laptop supplied by the school. The screen was so small I was having trouble seeing the work I was assigning and grading for the students. I had a smart televsion I was going to use a monitor. However, the televison had an HDMI and the laptop had a VGA port. This adapter worked great with no hassle, no configuring, just plug and play. The USB hooked into the laptop and made the sound work through the television. Now I can Zoom with the kids and split my screen to help them with their work.

As a photography teacher I use this film with high school students who have never shot on film before. I have found this film to be the best compromise between quality and value, I highly recommend it. In addition, the 400 film speed is perfect for students just learning to use old 35mm film cameras. If only it wasn't to expensive to develop and print these days!

I am a high School Film teacher and a weekend home movie maker. This film stock is my go to for all shooting. I recently took my K-100 on my honeymoon and the results were excellent. I recommend this for all color shooting and it projects beautifully.
