I use this projector and an old fashioned slide projector screen to watch movies, YouTube clips, and news in my living room, connecting my laptop to the projector with a separately sold HDMI/HDMI cable. Right out of the box without any adjustments, the images had beautiful contrast, resolution, and color tone. Quiet machine while it runs. The brightness is not quite as powerful as projectors one would find at a school or workplace, but I still could enjoy a show just fine if I closed the drapes on a sunny day. At night, it gives a great cinematic experience. Haven't tried its audio system yet because I have a bluetooth speaker I like, but I read that this projector has nice sound. I did a lot of research and looked into many different projectors, online specs review and field testing at electronic stores. I use the probe for for movies. The HD 66 is simy right on theory if you are looking for a compact, silent, yet sufficiently bright projector with deep connectivity. I'm using the HD connection - great to have, but it also has all other connections to cover your basics, VGA, s-video and component. The speaker is not worth mentioning, at least for movies, it may perhaps be ok for some sound effects during your next presentation or the odd clip here and there. But then I'm running everything at home through an LG HOME THEATER system, so the speaker is disabled and so far I didn't turn it back on. All in all a great projector for good money. 5 |

Best solution for boardroom projectors. Nice and powerful given the footprint. Good full range sound. Has an imbedded condenser that causes a little hiss, back off the gains and increase volume with the source equipment. 5 |
