Best Mirrorless Camera For Hiking

I bought this to be my main lens. The whole idea of having a smaller mirrorless camera is portability.I use my camera for hiking up a 1200 foot mountain in the morning to film the sunrise.

I use this to carry a mirrorless crop sensor camera on a back pack while day hiking. It works well. I do sometimes use it on a full frame Canon. It works but its a bit awkward.

This little camera is truly remarkable. I'm a professional photojournalist and own a number of mirrorless alpha bodies; I bought this camera for hiking and skiing because it fits easily into almost any pocket. I've become disillusioned by iPhone images that are often flat and super saturated because of Apple's insistence on baking-in the HDR feature into their native camera app. This camera's image quality is outstanding and its 24-200 optical zoom is very versatile. They say the best camera is the one you always carry with you and if you're willing to pay the price (it is a bit expensive), it'll become the camera that doesn't leave your side. If you're looking to ditch your smart phone camera and its limitations, this little camera is for you. Highly recommend.

Best for hiking and using larger lens on dslr

The Best Mirrorless camera of 2018. I bought it via B&H Photo Video along with adapter and 24-70 f4 lens and its the sharpest lens and has vibrant colors and auto focus/tracking is the best in both Photo/Video. One of the best continuous auto focus camera which Nikon has produced for Video and it tracks the subject very well. If u are the Nikon shooter then u should grab it immediately. Its low light capability is another powerful feature and its in par with Sony alpha series. Battery performance is great but not the best - I was able to get around 700 raw files with one battery and thats almost double than what they mentioned in the advertisement ie. around 350 plus pics. Anyway I got 2 extra batteries for this camera so that i can shoot more photo/video diring events. ——- Downside —— Single XQD memory card slot but thats ok as i can take a risk on it. Never seen failure in my SD cards since i started photography in 2013 so I can take that risk.

Best addition to the camera. For the price it is an asset to any photography who wants quality close ups with a mirrorless camera.

All I ever wanted in a Mirrorless Camera.

I tried A LOT of bags during the pandemic and finally settled on this one. I'm 6' and the 50L was big enough when I need to pack a lot, and still a good size for me when I'm traveling light as the top expands as needed. My camera/lenses are mirrorless, but I ordered with DSLR Medium Core Unit as it's deeper so I could stand up a few lenses I couldn't in the mirrorless version. Very comfortable for hiking as similar to my Osprey backpacks, yet extremely practical for all photographic/hiking needs. The flexibility it allows is the best of all I tried. You can fit laptop and a water bladder, and it's very weather proof.
