I rarely / never shoot video, so I was looking for a full frame mirrorless camera that excels as a stills camera.  The Z6 was the choice based upon stills performance and price.  Also the Z6 with 24-70mm f/4 lens comes in quite a bit lighter than the primary DSLR I have been using (Canon 6D with 24-105mm f/4).  The high ISO performance is excellent and the user interface is familiar and easy to navigate.  In addition the focus is quick and very quiet / silent, and the silent photo mode is a plus.  My focus preference is to focus in spot mode (old school) to select the exact focus point.  Using this method assures the focus every time.  This is my first Nikon camera even, so thank you Nikon for the excellent entry into the mirrorless market!!

This is bar none the best video focused mirrorless camera currently available. - Stunning autofocus - unlimited record time with no overheating - great selection of video codecs including support of 4K at 120fps. - new and improved color science! - Formidable still performance even at 12mp This camera offers the very best Sony offers. Everything in this camera is updated! New menu system is amazing! I was hesitant with the 12mp stills performance but the stills look really good even at zooming in at 100% and should satisfy most photography needs! Highly recommend for those that want a solid hybrid camera.

I purchased the FDR-AX700 in April of 2020, I already own 2 FDR-AX100s, one AX53, one AX33 and one Mirrorless A6400. I love the build of the AX700 it has become my #1 camcorder. I do multi-camera shooting and the picture quality and consistancy from one model to the next. Most of my shoots are indoors so low light is always a challenge but the AX700 tackles the job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best camera bag on the go. Can carry a mirrorless camera and still pack some space for other items such as a Water Bottle and a laptop or tablet.

The Best Mirrorless camera of 2018. I bought it via B&H Photo Video along with adapter and 24-70 f4 lens and its the sharpest lens and has vibrant colors and auto focus/tracking is the best in both Photo/Video. One of the best continuous auto focus camera which Nikon has produced for Video and it tracks the subject very well. If u are the Nikon shooter then u should grab it immediately. Its low light capability is another powerful feature and its in par with Sony alpha series. Battery performance is great but not the best - I was able to get around 700 raw files with one battery and thats almost double than what they mentioned in the advertisement ie. around 350 plus pics. Anyway I got 2 extra batteries for this camera so that i can shoot more photo/video diring events. ——- Downside —— Single XQD memory card slot but thats ok as i can take a risk on it. Never seen failure in my SD cards since i started photography in 2013 so I can take that risk.

Best addition to the camera. For the price it is an asset to any photography who wants quality close ups with a mirrorless camera.

Great for both video and stills with features other mirrorless cameras lack like IBIS and really good ergonomics. Im excited about the lens roadmap Nikon released as well. Most of what I need will be out this coming year.

I've run a bunch of these now and for mirrorless cameras, there is nothing better for me. I shoot a lot of video, but even for stills I really like how solid and quick this head is. Leveling bases are now a requirement and the CH20 is the gold standard for me. Controls are perfectly placed, knobs are exactly the right shape and size, the handle extends and collapses in just the right amounts for use and storage. I use these on most of my tripods now. I could save a few dollars on a cheaper knock-off but when these are on sale, it's a no-brainer.
