I shoot mostly web videos and this has upped the quality incredibly. I also use it for a mobile podcasting unit and I honestly could not be happier with it. The fact that it supplies phantom power for my secondary microphone is the icing on the cake.

Mac Daddy's Mobile Music out of Boise, ID. We use lav microphones for live sound - especially weddings. First the sound quality was excellent. I had to turn down the gain on Sennheiser base station - it was set to +16 db by default and all I got was feedback at first. Once done I could use the microphone to pick up the officiant, the bride and the groom with perfect clarity. The cable is extra long, the clip is sturdy, and the microphone isn't terribly large. And best - it costs a ton less than the Sennheiser lav microphones. It's tough to keep this microphone from feedbacking...you have to set your speakers perfectly. Some folks might not like the pattern or pickup on this microphone.

Just what I needed to use phantom powered microphones with a small mobile recording mixer. Output is noise-free, at least to my ears. :-)

This microphone combo is a must for a mobile DJ. I have used this set up at two wedding ceremonies. One wedding was indoors and I didn't have any issues. The second wedding was outdoors. I did have a couple issues with the channels. For some reason the microphones were not matching the channels I set for them. After a couple of adjustment I managed to make the microphones work. I gave the lavalier microphone to the wedding officiant and the handheld microphone to a duo of musicians. Everything sounded great without issues. I never lost the signal, there were no sudden drops of signal, no feedbacks or interference. That's remarkable for an outdoor wedding ceremony. I'm satisfied with this system so far. It is just what I needed.

Best podcasting/voice-over microphone ever! No background noise, even when people are loudly talking in the next room. The audio is so beautiful, that I hardly need to do any work retouching it. This has streamlined my workflow and saved me hours and hours of time.
