Best Monitor Size Compute Desk

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing monitor! I am so in love with the massive size and the super high quality that it displays. The design is beautiful and it looks like a piece of art. I’m so glad I got the 32 inch size instead of the 34 because it would have made my peripheral view uncomfortable with my setup. So make sure that you take size into account according to your desk setup. I can tilt and rotate the screen with its base in any way I need it and that is a huge plus! The stand is a space hog so make sure you have a deep desk to make use of it, otherwise you’d have to either mount it to the wall or use another desk mount. Gaming and watching videos, well, it’s unimaginably breathtaking! It comes with the necessary cables (HDMI, DisplayPort, USB Up-Stream) and a U clip that lets you route your mouse cable through it and it clips to either the left or right side of the bottom frame. Also, you might have some issues with entering Bios with the monitor using DisplayPort, so if you do, just do a search for CSM, secure boot or DisplayPort fix. It lets you select through different viewing modes like for gaming, HDR, reading, etc. which makes me love it even more. I connected my speakers directly to it and it also has 2 USB Down-stream ports that I connect my mouse or keyboard to. I have also connected my PS5 and Xbox Series X to play and of course I’m blown away! This is the best monitor ever and it’s such a great pleasure to own. The size and especially the aspect ratio of this monitor makes it work very well as either a second monitor on a desk which you don't want to devote entirely to monitors, or for use in a non-office - guest room, corner of living room etc. - where you want a usable monitor which doesn't stand out. I've used it for both and drag it from one place to another fairly often. Which I would not do with a 16:9 monitor of any size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. Having long looked at ultra-wides trying to find the right fit for me, I was excited to get my hands on LG's latest 38" offering. Initially I was concerned that a 60" x 30" desk might not be enough to use it comfortably, but so far I haven't noticed any serious issues due to the massive size (having upgraded from a 27" QHD.) The built-in color profiles are really great - and holy cow does the contrast and brightness really stand out for some of them. They can be quite eye-searing, in a good way! The LG Calibration Studio is available as well, but requires an external sensor (Like a Spyder, etc.) I was hopeful that some of the settings could simple be changed in the software vs being forced to use the OSD. I'm primarily using the monitor for gaming, and 144Hz is a great fit for a monitor this size. I use a 6900xt which drives this resolution/refresh rate just fine. The 1ms response time is great, and there's settings in the monitor to adjust through some refresh presets. My only gripe is the back of the monitor - If you are up against a wall like my desk is, you lose a good 5-6" due to the positioning of the stand and the cables. If the cables came out of the bottom instead of 90 degrees out the back, you could flush-mount the monitor on the wall and gain a good amount of space. Instead, to do so, you'd have to invest in some after-market 90 degree cables to make it happen. Honestly, though, small quibbles for such a great monitor. I'm really happy with it!

Great resolution and a decent refresh rate. Probably the maximum size I would want for my desk where the monitor is at arms length.

Best price for an OLED monitor at this size, need to tweak settings a bit to get your exact preference, but you can create multiple profiles for any type of use you want. Beautiful colors and performance .
