There are 11 speakers built into the bar, and another 2 upward firing speakers to bounce sound off of the ceiling. A 6 inch downward firing, ported subwoofer powers the rear surround speakers. This system is designed to play Dolby Atmos and DTS:X encoded audio. This all adds up to movie theater experience that is amazing. The only drawback is that most TV programming is not in Dolby Atmos audio. However, using the handheld remote, you can select from EQ presets to maximize whatever sound source is driving it. We like to use the Direct EQ to enhance the clarity of dialogue. Hook up your Bluetooth mobile device and pump out your favorite tunes using the Music EQ and you'll hear crystal clear music. My dilemma is I have a 1 year old theater amp and a 5.1 speaker system that I don't know what to do with... BTW, I debuted this Vizio M-Series 5.1.2 with the movie 6 Underground. That was a good choice to pump sound through all the speakers and fire off the subwoofer.

Great sound, Dolby Atmos has made movie watching experience absolutely stunning. I have Q700B and I bought 9500s. Only tricky bit was to up the volume of rear front and rear top channels but once it was done the sound has been great. Even TV documentary sounds great. Dynamic range delivered by Dolby Atmos which is a great enhancement to any movie or favorite music. Setup was a breeze. The Samsung TV blended seamlessly. Great purchase and well worth the investment.

Getting my own surround sound with Dolby Atmos was a dream of mine for most of my adult life. When I heard how the Arc sounded in the shop I was blown away. It enhances the movie watching so much, is so clean and clear. And amazing for music too. I thought I'd try it out with out the SubWoofer because it was so good, and it was but also recently added the SubWoofer which adds a whole other level to my movie watching experiencing. Now I am hoping to one day get the Sonos One's at the back of the room for complete surround but even without that, what I have at the moment makes me smile so much! When watching a movie you hear the glass break, or a trickle, such details and base also for the action movies just like the cinema. But note you'll need a TV that has the HDMI that support Dolby Atmos otherwise you don't get that full affect even though the speakers can offer that. Love my system all in white. My dream has come true and worth every cent!

Get one of these for bone rattling Dolby atmos. Pair it with the Sonos sub and some surrounds and you’ll have your own movie theater in your living room.it also looks great in any setting.

I hooked this one up to my LG Oled65 television and let me tell you “OMG” the sound on this is amazing. I love the Dolby Atmos on this it feels like you are in the movie. You have to have this hooked up to the blu-Ray or Apple 4K in order for it to work. The players have to also be Dolby Atmos compatible in order for it to work. Also the show or the movie has to have Dolby Atmos. I got the rear speakers with this and it makes such a big difference. It is a lot of money but well worth it. I love having family and friends coming over and loving the surround on this sound bar.

Hooked them up and put in 4K movie with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos sound. The sound is totally awesome and delivers the great sounds within the movies from the tiniest sounds to the explosive sounds. Great investment to my entertainment system!

Mostly for movies. Dolby atmos is outstanding!

I use the 300's solely for music. I am especially enjoying Dolby Atmos.
