Best No Mirror Digital Camera

Best filter for shooting color with a Nikon lens on a digital camera body. No color shift whatsoever. 5 |

I have just this year gotten back into film since the '70's. Scanning my negatives with a mirror less digital camera and macro lens just was not working easily for me. A friend suggested I try the Wolverine and I picked the F2D Saturn as I like 120 film. This digital converter is VERY easy to use and scans all the way up to 6x9 format! The quality of the images is on a par with my vintage Ikoflex , Rolleicord and Zeiss Ikon Nettar. This has made processing on my own much easier. I feel that now I can move on to the next phase of my B&W film photography! 5 |

Same great camera, even with a mirror but still one of the best digital DSLR's ever produced. Same great price from B&H and same great super, fast expedited shipping to your door with great packaging. What's not to like? Great job, well done! 5 |

I usually roll my eyes when people call something a game changer, but this camera truly is. Much of what this camera does has been enjoyed by Sony users for awhile now, and I’m sure they get a laugh out of Canon users getting giddy over mirror less. My primary use is nature still photography, and this camera excels. Having focus points across the entire viewfinder is huge. No more focus and recompose. No more focusing on something close to the plane of the head because the head is outside the area of focus points. The animal eye focus works great in many, but not all situations. I switch between animal tracking focus and single point focus as need be. Switching on the fly is easy. When you move to this camera, it’s important to use it as a mirror less camera, and not try to fit it into your old methods. For example, I don’t use back button focus on this camera. I use the R6 mostly with the adapted 100-400 lens, but have had it on the 500 and 600. The EF-RF adapter works like a charm. My second generation 100-400 and 600 use all of the focus points of the R6. The older first generation 500 IS uses fewer, but still coverers way more area than the focus points on a dSLR. I highly recommend this camera. It makes my 1DX seem like a dinosaur. Do be sure to have an extra battery. I chose to not buy the battery grip because I want to keep it small. 5 |
