Best Open Air Tv Antenna

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't normally watch over-the-air TV. I'm more of a Hulu/Netflix guy. But there are certain times when it becomes really useful like during the Olympics. I connected this antenna to my newish LG 4k TV and found the setup to be quite easy. What's really useful are the three LED lights that indicate you are getting the maximum signal. This allows you to easily position and orient the antenna to pick up the most channels. I live in Austin, TX, and I was able to access a bunch of new channels with this. I admit I haven't used it much since setting it up, but I'm glad to have this antenna for when I need it. Also, the gray cloth and plastic aesthetic looks modern and fashionable -- much more elegant than those old rabbit ears :)

The app is user-friendly and I can easily understand how to find a better placement for the antenna. I place mine closer to a window so I get a better signal and little to no stuttering pictures. The picture is close to perfect and I like that I even have channels that I did not have before such as the Spanish channel and a few others. Since I do not use cable this antenna has come helpful to watch basic channels and watching the news.

We don't have cable TV so we use an antenna.This antenna is easy to install. It brought in some channels better than others. We are happy with it. It is sleek looking so it blends in with the surroundings. I would recommend this product to my family and friends.

When broadband finally came to our rural location streaming video to go with our off-air antenna was a first purchase. I've been setting up Roku units for clients for years and chose them to use for my home.

I bought this so I would watch over-the-air programs that are not able to be seen via Hulu and all the other streaming options scattered in my house. Plug it in, attach an antenna and run the software. I now record my PBS programs from the various PBS channels available in my area. I love the fact I can program it to record. It wakes up my laptop and does the work. It's awesome. The little antenna it comes with wasn't long enough for my application. So I attached one of the flat types of antennas and positioned it by a window. Simple and elegant gizmo and works. My laptop is a dual boot machine and I had no issues installing it on Win 7 and Win 10.

I am not using this for its intended purpose. I am using it for a portable over the air hdtv antenna stand for my camping setup. I like that it didn't have to mock something up myself. And the rod is easy to attach/detach from the base... which keeps the whole thing very portable for my needs.
