Big enough for half to full body shots, even for outdoor use if wind conditions allow or assistant holding it in place. Usable as a reflecting umbrella or shoot-through. Lightweight and compact. Love it! 5 |

If you're doing outdoor shooting with hard light - this diffuser is an excellent way to diffuse light and kill hard shadows. I recently shot in the Miami sun and having this diffuser made all the difference. This diffuser is also great for interior lighting setup if you have a large enough light source. Needless to say, this diffuser is huge and takes a little time to learn how to fold in up in it's storage bag. Also, when the diffuser is in its storage bag it's too big to put in a suit case so this 5x7 isn't ideal for traveling on planes. I highly recommend having an assistant and the diffuser for ext photo and/or video. It's possible to using a light stand with a sandbag, but i find that having an assistant hold it is just as good. This softbox kit is incredible, obviously you have to have an assistant, but I have used this time and again and has given me incredible results. I would defintely recommend this for outdoor shoots where you are on the go! I use it with a monopod. I gave it 4.5 stars only because you have to figure out a way to secure your flash. 5 |

How I ever took outdoor pictures without these, I shall never know. I photograph children mostly, and being light on gear is the only way to go. These reflectors keep me and my assistant ready for each candid moment. You just have to be aware of how strong the sun can reflect off these especially toward mid day, because they can be blinding to your subjects. 5 |
