Not only did I need it to be portable and light, but I needed it to sound good. The RockJam 88 Key Digital Piano Keyboard Piano with Full Size Semi-Weighted Keys fulfills all of those needs. This keyboard sounds good. It is the closest a keyboard can come to sounding like my upright piano without actually being a regular piano. The features are simple to use and the ability to connect to my iPad and use this in Garage Band is huge. My kids love composing their own songs with it. The sustain pedal works well, but I just wish it was weighted a little more. The RockJam 88 Key Digital Piano Keyboard Piano with Full Size Semi-Weighted Keys is a definite 10 in my book!

Perfect size for a full size 88-key digital portable piano. Very solid, stable frame. On the lowest height setting, my keyboard is still a bit high for me to play comfortably sitting down, so I get a higher chair/stool instead. Frame locks securely into position. The rubber feet means the keyboard doesn't move during practice or performance.

This was free as part of promotion, but worth buying as it makes a home piano out of a portable keyboard. Sure beats coffee table or folding stands. On the road, though, would be a bit bulky.

Needed a keyboard that was semi-portable, yet be as close to a real piano as possible. This is among the best keyboard amps I have used for the combination of portability, bass response without booming and just plain clear true even frequency response. I do not miss anything on the bottom register for it being only a 12 speaker. With any of various piano emulations on my various keyboards, it is as close to playing a grand piano as any amp and speaker combination I have used and that is compared to a Peavy KB 100 and a Peavy Bandit. Hammond and other organ and synth emulations come thru cleanly as well. Could not be more satisfied.
