This thing is a beast. It's not so much a surge protector as it is a smallish power conditioner. It's hard to tell if you've never seen one, but it is about 3' long. If space is a premium and you don't need clean power, this may not be the droid you're looking for. If you can spare it, and aren't frightened by the price tag (which is entirely reasonable for what you're getting), then I couldn't recommend it highly enough. 5 |

Electrical power spikes occur for many reasons and your sensitive electronics won't survive unless you have a quality surge suppressor. Most products sold as surge supressors only provide a low level of protection and are little more than power bars. The Isobar offers a high level of protection and, unlike most other surge suppressors, will isolate each outlet from surges caused by other appliances plugged into it.
