Best Power Strip Surge Protector 850W Psu

The APC P8VNTG Power Saving Surge Protector is a great product, potentially impacted by inferior quality. The product itself is attractive, well, as attractive as a power strip can really be. The black design melds into most home theater decors. I personally like the blue LED lighting, but they are VERY bright. So if you don't have the power strip hidden behind something, the light may be distracting.

I got this card fearing for my 850w PSU, coming from a 3080ti. I'd read the reviews, saw the power ratings, looked at the 12 pin connector. It's all lies. At default settings and with the BIOS on performance, it rendered video at 60-80w LESS than the 3080ti at almost twice the speed. After some mild tweaking in Afterburner, the card now clocks 100mhz higher than default on core and 1000mhz on vram, while capped at 0.975v - which yields significantly increased performance over default AND 100-140w less power draw than the 3080ti. I never thought I'd be nearly doubling performance AND significantly reducing power consumption by getting this card. The icing on the cake is that it also runs around 45C at full blast, in a 65F roof. Mind boggling. Probably Nvidia's best card to date.

This is very helpful to add another device to the end of an extension cord, without using a large surge protector or power strip. Small and rugged.

Do you need a surge protector? Probably not. But if you are looking for a well-made power strip with plenty of outlets this is a great choice.

Works well and much more than a surge protector. I used this to replace my old power strip. It works great adding 8 outlets to my stereo that can be turned on and off from the front of my equipment. The two LED post light let me see my equipment faces so I can make adjustments without turning on the room light.

Most power bricks use very little power, no worries about overloading your surge power strip or UPS.

This is a very safe power strip even if you don't need the surge protection. It is also very sturdy and never tips over.
