I had the 1900ac and it worked pretty well except that every so often (a few times a day) it would drop the wireless signal. This does not happen with the 2600ac. I saw where someone complained about that with the 2600 but they didn't have that issue with the 1900 and I am not sure why that is as I have experienced the opposite. This router also can run the intrusion prevention package with no problems whereas the 1900 suffered to keep up with it. I have been using it for a few months now and it works pretty well. The only downside I see and time will fix this is the knowledge base is pretty week on this router but it will improve with time like most of these types of products. 5 |
