Best everyday lens I have used in 20+ years of digital photography. Sharp and agile focus. Zoom range (36-105mm for APS-C cameras) and large aperture serve 90% of my needs indoors and outdoors. Weight would be a drawback for those who wear cameras like medallions on a necklace all day, but the output of this lens is well worth breaking that habit in some ergonomically sensible way. 5 |

I am a semi-professional photographer. By that I work a normal job and get photography jobs randomly. One of my regularly scheduled events is a conference 3 times a year that requires me to move around a large arena quickly, with heavier lenses, but without distracting the audience if at all possible. For years I strapped on two cameras with their own straps and it was just incredibly difficulty and strenuous on my neck. A year ago I started using the Money Maker by Holdfast gear and the difference was night and day. I can carry two cameras for 3-4 hours at a time and never feel fatigued. As well, I usually have a monopod on one of my lenses and the cameras hang where it doesn't bang around or hit others. As a female photographer, I can't imagine doing multi-camera shoots without it. I bought this the first time back in 2014 from another online store and have been using it for years (home use, not professional job). The paper is white and durable enough. I purchased this again here based on my previous good experience. I suggest buy some clamps from Lowes or other places to work with this, because the paper will keep rolling once you hang it and start to unreel it. 5 |
