I have used this scanner, and its nearly identical predecessor DR-4010C for nearly 20 years. It is heavy duty and reliable, with no issues or problems. After closing my law office, I scanned and converted several hundred boxes of client files to PDF computer files, before shredding all the paper. This scanner easily processed everything, and more, and continues to work well. I quickly scan whole books to PDF computer files, before converting them to text with OCR software, so the computer can read them using text-to-speech software. It just keeps on working as it should. This is the singularly best piece of office equipment I ever purchased. There is good reason Canon still makes this model with no apparent changes. You bet, I would buy it again. Sidebar Observation - I enjoy using this scanner with Canon's new I.R.I.S. PDF and OCR program, which works well and is well worth its comparatively low price. I have used most of the other major OCR and PDF programs, including, but not limited to, PaperPort, OmniPage, TextBridge, ABBYY OCR, Foxit PDF, Adobe Acrobat, Nitro PDF, and several others programs, and Canon's I.R.I.S. application is my current favorite. I received this today. This comes formated as ExtFat. Though it is 256gb with the formatting and file size it can hold as little as 180gb of data when storing large number of small size files as each will utilize 128k of space in this format. Speed was about 30-35mb/sec when writing to the drive. read was about 180mb/sec. I reformatted it with NTFS at 4096 bytes. Write speed in tests went to 160mb/sec for non-text files. With text type files when writing large quantity of files drops to 95-100mb/sec. Read transfer was increased to 225mb/sec. I am utilizing a Dell E5450 I7 laptop that is 3 years old for this. This flash drive greatly exceeded the Sandisk UltraFit flash drive. I have both and use both. This is larger that the UltraFit by about 33% on the external part mostly in width. If running videos from this versus over the Internet performance was excellent. I am very pleased with the performance I noted on this. If you see performance lagging in Windows then you need to change the Drive Removal Policy from quick removal (default) t Better Performance  for higher performance. Once you do this you cant just pull the drive out, you have to click eject on it to end writes to the drive, but performance goes up significantly. I will update later with further information.

Use as a back up for my important photos, music and text files. Is plug and Play with no major software to load.If you can drag and drop in a windows environment, this drive will work!

Best 27 1440P OLED on the market hands down, gorilla glass gives it so much clarity while reduces glare and reflections a noticeable amount. Needed a firmware update because of issues with Fullscreen games upscaling to 4k 120hz and reducing refresh rate but other than that every other aspect of this monitor is perfect. Got mine used for 600$ because of some minor gaps in the back plastic behind the display, totally worth it. Significantly brighter than other monitors with the exact same LG panel, and the OSD works great with a lot of OLED care options. I would never EVER order directly or even pre-order from Dough/Eve, but Amazon/B&H ARE solid distributors. Threw it on a cheap 25$ monitor arm and I won't be upgrading unless Dough releases the rumored 4k 27 variant next year. Only real issue is the text clarity that comes with ALL 1440p OLEDs but disabling ClearType for Chrome only, solved my issues, passable text in chrome and on windows. Some people report sensitivity to PWM-controlled brightness and I thought I did too but I just had to reduce my whitepoint and that removed all fatigue.

A very convenient way to store data securely, whether it be backups, or files for sharing. Easy to program several user codes at different security levels. Also many user options are programmable, such as the number of failed access attempts allowed before data is destroyed. Very easy to use right out of the box.

I use a sync program to backup files for current projects onto several of these at preset intervals (10 minutes, one hour, and one day) so I always have a backup that I can detach and store away quickly. Plus, if I have overwritten a file by mistake, I have three safety nets I can use to backtrack.

I was very happy with the ease and accuracy of lens calibration with Fo Cal. I used a manual focus target previously to calibrate my lenses, which was adequate, but I didn't know just how much better the focus could be until I tried this program. I have a Nikon, which meant I had to change the calibration settings myself, but that was easy enough. All you have to do is follow the voice prompt. The program allows you to do your calibration using either the JPG or RAW file format. The default is JPG, which was fast. I then decided to try it using RAW files to see if there would be any difference, but the large files that my D810 generates quickly overwhelmed my older laptop computer, which I was using for the calibration, before I could finish the calibration program. I do not know if you get different or more accurate results from RAW.

I purchased the device to store some of my work files. There are many features within the program that came with the device. It is also easy to use and does not require prior knowledge. Anyone can deal with it.
