Replaced my 10+ years old battery inside my surge protector and power backup APC unit. It works great. Primarily helps keep my internet modem running during power outages. The APC P8VNTG Power Saving Surge Protector is a great product, potentially impacted by inferior quality. The product itself is attractive, well, as attractive as a power strip can really be. The black design melds into most home theater decors. I personally like the blue LED lighting, but they are VERY bright. So if you don't have the power strip hidden behind something, the light may be distracting.
