The perfect rig for me to get into simulator racing. 5 |

A really nice start to my racing simulator. Pricey, but justified by quality. 5 |

I'm using this for Microsoft Flight Simulator and it's a pretty good substitute for full-on yoke and rudder pedals. Worked perfectly right out of the box. 5 |

By far the best rudder pedals on the market for any flight simulator. The entire unit is made of metal and is relatively heavy. Very linear feel, fully programmable, toe-brakes work well and easy to setup/hookup. If you're going to spend a lot of time flying, don't settle for a cheap set of pedals. You'll thank yourself for getting these. They're expensive but you get what you pay for. There is an option to permanently mount the base so the unit doesn't move. It does have feet on the bottom but still slides on carpet. If you have carpet and don't want to drill holes into your floor, be creative and make a plywood base with a larger footprint so that it can be jammed/wedged against something stationary. Or place it on a slip-resistant mat made for carpet. 5 |

I have a racing simulator and run iRacing from my gaming laptop but my HDMI cables were too short to get the laptop in the right position so that I can access it while in the simulator. This cable is perfect and very fast. It's shielded nicely and built well and I highly recommend it! [i received this product in exchange for my honest opinion] 5 |

Adds a new level of interactivity to racing and driving games that greatly enhances immersion and enjoyment. I have driven automatic cars my whole life, but for playing racing games or Truck Simulator I really like having the added control and activity that manually switching gears provides. Feel more like a racer or a trucker. Quality is great, feels heavy and solid and mostly metal. Mounted perfectly to my wheelstand pro with RGS upgrade. Quality and functionality-wise I've had no issues with this shifter, it recognized automatically in Forza Horizon 5 without any configuration at all, and was very easy to configure in Truck Simulator with an SKRS truck shifter knob on it. You do need to install a software driver when you first set it up in order for it to work correctly, but it's very simple setup. It is expensive for what it is, but I don't regret the purchase at all because of how much it has changed the way I play pretty much any driving/racing game. After getting this, my setup feels complete. Just a note on the seller: I never ordered anything from B&H before but I was impressed with the quick order processing and shipping. I ordered the product later in the evening of Dec. 12, and received the product morning of Dec. 15. Good experience, I'd buy from B&H again. 5 |

This is perfect if you want to use a monitor with a racing simulator setup (as in a chair setup you wheel over to your desk), but also wish to use it at your desk like a normal display. The reach and steadiness of the arm is beyond reproach: even perched at an extreme angle with a DD wheel setup vibrating nonstop, this holds steady. 5 |

So I've been a life long gamer, the last time I had a steering wheel setup was on the Playstation 1 with the original Gran Turismo, fast forward 25+ years and I decided I'd give a racing wheel another try (as I have most of the Forza Games, plus Dirt Rally and a few others). Let me just say, what a difference 25 years makes! Force Feedback is amazing! Not only does it really feel like a car driving down the road, but most racing games allow for nearly infinite adjustability of the Force Feedback Settings. This wheel is actually too powerful on the highest settings, so I've dialed the strength back to 50% in most of my games. I'm playing to enjoy the games, not wrestle with the steering wheel, but some gamers might like the steering a lot stiffer, and this will deliver. The buttons on it feel well built like they won't break or stop responding, and in the rubber section of the wheel it feels very grippy and well built in your hands. The plastic part of the wheel feels a little cheap but it won't wear. As for the pedals, they do the job and aren't terrible, but also nothing to write about. After a few weeks I upgraded to the T-3PM pedals that Thrustmaster just released, and they are well worth the upgrade. I still have the pedals it came with as a back up in case the new pedal set runs into issues. If you've been thinking about getting a racing wheel, this one is great! 5 |

I paired this with the Next Level Racer stand to get into sim racing for around $300 total. I really wanted to get into sim racing, but I wanted to make sure I would truly be into it before dropping thousands on legit setup. This has been great. The wheel has great feel and the shifters are nice. I really wanted to get the TMX Pro, which is $50 more but has way nicer pedals, but it is never in stock. I went this and I am perfectly happy with the pedals. The pedals are way better than I expected they would be. For $200 you cannot go wrong with this, I have never used the logitech G920/G29, but I have heard they are not worth double the price of this wheel. You won't regret this wheel, especially if you can find one during quarantine. 5 |

I've gone my entire life without a proper wheel setup for racing games. As a kid I had a couple of those $30 mad catz steering wheels and never had a proper setup to utilize them. Even if I did the wheels were trash. Fast forward to now and I started thinking about racing setups to get me really into GT Sport. Since I'm limited on space I found a Playseat Challenge. The biggest plus about this is the storage size, along with having a proper seating position, unlike many of the cheaper setups out there that use a chair. Onto the wheel. I opted for this over the logitech due to the fact it's belt driven. No annoying clunks and ratcheting. Sure the logitech wheel looks better, but the thrustmaster wheel is perfect. Paddles are solid, feedback is great, noise level is perfect. I did buy the t3pa-pro pedals due to being able to position them like they are in a normal car, plus the all metal base/pedals are very nice. The first day of driving was a little strange, but quickly adaptable. Just adjusting pedals to my preference and overall seating position were the biggest obstacles at first. I had to learn how to drive with paddles for the first time as well. One thing with a wheel is if you're staying on track it's much easier to pull off consistent laps. In Day 2 on my first attempt I broke my Day 1 fastest lap time by 5 seconds. Day 3 I improved another second. Most of the top times compared to me are still 3 seconds faster, but you can definitely understand where you need to improve if you think about speed through corners, when to brake, feeling the tires at or before their breaking point. I wish I had this for as long as I've ever played any racing game. I do many player other genres on ps4 so GT isn't my primary game like a lot of GT players, but with a little patience you'll be having the most fun in a racing game in no time. 5 |
