This is a really awesome microphone I ordered to go with my Canon Rebel T2i. It has AMAZING sound quality and looks really professional. This microphone will make everyone's head turn. The only problem is that you will very likely need to buy a sound recorder or a camera that can change audio levels because quality is lost when the audio is recorded directly into the camera. I would also recommend getting a secondary shock mount because the plastic knob to attach to a hot-shoe wore out the first day I used it. 5 |

So far, this microphone has been a great companion to my Canon t3i. I have used both the LensHopper and the Rode VideoMic Pro, and I have to say that both of them have the same audio quality. But the LensHopper is stronger and will not fall from its shock mount. Plus, you can use a single battery for weeks. The only downsides are that you can't monitor your audio levels (no headphone plugin) or your battery life until it is drained, but for the price you can't complain about that. 5 |
