Love this motherboard. I have no issues. The only personal preference I would suggest for the next model is that you make the ROG lighting customizable so that you can change it to another picture or effect. I turned mine off and honestly looks amazing as a reflective mirror with RGB fans. This makes it fit the “DARK” Hero vibe even more. 5 |

The ROG Strix Z790-E is an outstanding motherboard! I installed an i9-13900K and 64GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, along with an ASUS TUF-Gaming RTX 4090 OC, and two Samsung 990 Pro NVME drives. I had the Rog Strix B550 motherboard version that did not include wifi, so I bought the PCE-AX58BT wifi card 2 years ago and it is still working perfectly. Wifi always works smoothly, and the card has always performed solid for me. 5 |

I built my last computer in like NOV-DEC of 2013. The motherboard was a ASUS ROG Maximus VI Hero (Intel-compatible). It has worked flawlessly all these years, and I couldn't ask for more. It still works. I decided it's time to upgrade because I wanted an ultrawide monitor. The last thing I wanted to do was have to tear all the components out and RMA a board, costing me HOURS of my life, all for saving $100 of a cheaper MB on the front end.
