Best Router For Ip Wireless Cameras

Using this with NEC NP-M352WS 3500-Lumen Portable Short Throw DLP Projector. Powerpoint slides are about 1 second delayed. No audio via the wireless adapter. However, I am happy with the device for my purposes. I also use a hard wire for audio/video usage. After the second round of ordering, receiving, and returning the first order of the projector and this adapter, an with level II NEC tech support, I am finally able to get the devices to work together. Also, I am not going to be using this on a wireless network/router, but through the Easy Connection option (no router present at installation). It came down to one simple operation (from Mac OS 6.8): Before starting the process below, you will need to get the wireless IP address of the projector. Mine was 10.0.39.155. -click on the wireless icon at the top of the screen -click on Open Network Preferences -click on Advanced -click on TCP/IP tab -change the Configure IPv4 setting to Manually -change the IPv4 Address: to something close to your video projector's (my instance: 10.0.39.160) -click OK and then Apply Don't forget to reverse this setting when you're done using the wireless adapter in order to connect to the internet normally. Bought these to use with IP cameras for production. They work so well am using them to mount just about anything you can think of, from Wireless antennas to Camera tripod head. We do a lot of live streaming for events and there is usually a rail of some type that lets me replace a tripod and save space. For the price you can't beat 'em.

The router was easy to setup after creating an account. The instructions manual which was downloaded from the site was handy, but really not needed for the setup. The setup was easy due to the on-screen information and easy to fill fields. This router is connected to my carrier's gateway using the IP pass-through method, thus it assigned a WAN IP to the router so I could create a separate network. The Asus RT-AX88U Pro is powerful. It covered more square footage with higher signal levels than the gateway installed by my carrier. I love its enhanced security features, which are standard and at no additional cost to the user, unlike other router manufacturers that charge a fee for such services. This is an outstanding router and highly recommended. It delivers the features and performance as advertised and seen in online reviews.

This is a fantastic Access Point. You still need a router so this device can allow clients to connect and assign them an IP. Netgear insight portal is convenient and easy to use. Highly recommend it.

We are a developer of command and control software and often buy various brands of IP cameras to test with our software suite. This camera was an addition late last year and we've actually deployed it on our property (mostly for testing). We cannot say enough about Axis products... this camera works as advertised and was easily integrated into our software. It is ONVIF compliant and provides crystal clear video. We are located in Florida and rarely use the defogging feature, but we would love to have self cleaning optics (a feature starting to appear on high end IP cameras) since the camera is located nearly 30 feet in the air making it difficult to clean... but that is the only thing we had in the wish it had it column. Overall a highly versatile and functional PTZ IP camera... we highly recommend this one!
