Best Router For Spectrum 100 Mbps Internet

Just upgraded our internet and got rid of cable switching from spectrum (100 Mbps) to WOW (1 gbps) internet. Ran a few speed tests and only ever managed to top out at around 700 Mbps. Switched over to this Netgear modem and got rid of the wow provided one and now Im getting 950 Mbps. Love it and highly recommend!

My cable provider’s internet router has such bad coverage in our house. I would try to watch my favorite shows, but was unable because my speed was 5 mbps upstairs. Getting the Orbi, my whole home now has the same excellent internet speed of 80 mbps. Plus I have added security and a simple app to control everything! Love it!

My previous modem was throttling my internet speed, so I upgraded the modem, router and satellite to this 2 piece system. Installation was extremely simple and fast, took longer to unbox and call Xfinity to assign the modem than to do initial setup. Units look much better when in plain view than the previous electronics. Up and running, my download speed went from avg 60-100 mbps to a consistent 480 mbps. (My Xfinity contract includes 400 mbps data speed) The Orbi software for monitoring and is informative and easy to use or change settings.

I was having issues with my smart devices and streaming HDTV. My wireless system was only giving me about 100 Mbps even though my cable internet was 800 Mbps. I looked into buying faster internet and discovered if I I wanted the cable company’s top speed of 1.2 Gbps, I needed a new modem. I purchased the latest and greatest cable modem, which was one model newer and capable of 2.5 Gbps. My internet speed didn’t get better. So, I decided to replace my wireless router. I researched the wireless routers available. The three key areas I concentrated on were the WAN connection speed, coverage and wireless specifications included. The ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 was the best in all three categories and the only router I found that had all three top of the line specifications. WAN - 2.5 Gbps Wireless - WiFi 6E Home Coverage - One router and one node replaced one router and five nodes. My coverage is better with less nodes. All my smart devices and my streaming HDTV are working great and I’m getting 950 Mbps internet speed. Smartest upgrade I’ve made.

This is a great modem. Using it with spectrum Internet and Orbi router. Great speeds. We are using it to stream as well as gaming at the same time. No issues. Very easy set up. Highly recommend.

I just got this new router because I wanted to make the most out of my spectrum internet plan since I’m paying for 200mbps and the router and modem provided by the provider only reached 80 mbps. This router almost tripled that. I’m at 225mbps now and I can track the speed with the very useful app that is free for the router and setting it up was very easy. I’ve recommended it to all my friends already so our gaming sessions will be lag free and updates won’t take up too much time

Ever since we switched from regular spectrum router and modem to the Orbi we have had no problems what so ever and excellent performance and faster internet. No complaints running extremely well especially in thunder storms. Our old internet would lag and buffer constantly and now we have had a lag or buffer since. We have multiple gaming consoles and smart TVs as well as our phones and computers on the wifi and still no slow or lag. Works excellent. Definetly recommend!

Replaced all my powerline adapters with this one. The results are beyond any comparison. The 100 MBps cable internet line is in every room right now. With powerline adapters I couldn't get more than 20MBps. I strongly recommend this product if your house has cable in all rooms.
