Best Router Wireless Extender Combination

Used this actually as a wireless extender to existing router that needed some hard wired ports that were in a place that running cables back to existing router were not really feasible. Easy setup, fast and working great.

I have a CM1000 for over a tear now it is paired with a R6700 V2 wireless router. The combination works very well with the cable access, The only problems are with the cable company. I average 8 connections on the router with two being wireless. The wireless is almost as fast as the wired on average throughout the house. I thought about upgrading to a CM1100 or CM1200 and could not see any advantage in doing so at this time. I would recommend if buying a new router go for the AX versions they are will worth the cost. pair them up with a cm1000 and 1GB internet service.

BEST RANGE EXTENDER I HAVE TRIED!

I debated purchase of the Canon EF 2X III Extender because of several mediocre reviews, but, since obtaining it, I've been pleased at how well the extender works in combination with a Canon EF500mm f/4L ISII USM Lens attached to an EOS 5D IV camera. The attached image of the head of a Great Blue Heron was taken with this combination. It was not possible to get close enough to the subject to capture this detail without the extender-lens combination.

I purchased this router as a range extender. It works excellently.

I purchased this router to use as an extender for my primary Synology Router. It was easy to set up and install. Also I had to do was connect it to AC Power and use the mobile app on my phone to complete the set up. There were some updates available which it download and installed.  It functions well and gives me the extended range I wanted. I would recommend this router as an extender, but if you have more than two network devices to connect you will need a switch device. It only has two network connections, which limits its function as your primary router.

works well. I have the wifi router on the bottom floor and use this 1 floor up as a wifi extender - I went from 1-2 bars to at least 3. would buy again.
