If you have a large house and are having trouble getting wifi to some of the areas, then the Orrbi RBK853 is the router for you! I have had several routers before this one and none of them could reach the far reaches of my house. The Orbi does it without a problem. There are 63 devices connected to the Orbi and room for plenty more. This is a great product and while a little expensive, is well worth the money in my book! 5 |

One of the best, if not best routers I have ever purchased. I covers our entire 3,700 sqft house. A couple days ago the mesh node was accidentally unplugged and the base router kept everything running. Would definitely buy again. 5 |

I already own a Synology RT2600AC and bought this router to set up as a mesh system. I live in 2 floor colonial and use Verizon FIOS. I was not happy with the FIOS Actiontec Router and was getting weak signal at certain areas of the house. I tried Eero but was having issues with the TIVO app. I was initially skeptical with this router. I had some issues with SONOS initially but this was solved by plugging a SONOS speaker to one of the routers. I now have good internet speed throughout my house and outside the driveway. Setup was easy and quick. I love the Synology software. I can easily control the kids internet access and filter their contents. I get an alert whenever someone goes to a site that is restricted. The synology routers tend to be on the larger size compared with the other mesh systems. The wifi system has been seamless and Im glad that I made this purchase. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 Netgear Wi-Fi routers. One for my house, one for my in home music studio and one for my fishing camp. All of them were easy to setup and they work to perfection! 5 |

Covers the house (999 sq ft) easily and not too bulky. Cheaper than other routers but just as good if not better. Size is not too bulky. Would def recommend. 5 |

I added two mesh routers to an existing Synology AC router. The installation process was simple and I have gone from 3 bars in 50% of the house, 2 bars in 25% and 1 bar in 25% to a strong 3 bars in every corner of the house. I plugged an ethernet cable into the mesh router in the basement and I was getting 200 mbs download speeds, the same I would see if I was plugged directly into the router upstairs. 5 |

My old mesh routers worked fine but were end of life and therefore a security risk and had to be replaced. My main router was still supported so I kept that device, and replaced the two end of life units with this 2 pack of GT-6's. I'm glad I did. My internet speeds are faster throughout the house, and my devices are supported and still getting patched by ASUS. The only negative of the upgrade is that the GT-6's have 3 LAN ports instead of 4, and I think that is a mistake. My old mesh routers had 4 LAN ports and yes I actually used them in one area of the house. 5 |

So far I am very please with this routers. I have a rather large house and the signal reaches all rooms. I like the fact that you have exterior and interior antennas. Different bandwidth 2.4, 5g and 6g. All good! 5 |

My cable-company-provided wifi router was giving acceptable speeds, but the coverage was spotty in the corners of my (modest sized) house, so I was looking to upgrade to something a little nicer and with better management features. It's also one of the few routers that has a 2.5Gbit LAN port, for those with a home server with 1Gbit wired network (which I have). The vertical monoloth design is a lot different from the antenna-encrusted models from most other companies, but reviews claimed it actually has good coverage, and indeed it delivered. I now have a solid signal everywhere in the house, and get ~400Mbit wireless just about everywhere, increasing to just under 600Mbit nearby, with no drops to speak of. It's a little bigger than it looks in the pictures, but it's got a pleasant, unflashy design that looks WAY better sitting in the average living room than most routers if your home decor isn't spiky gamer hangout or Cyberpunk den. Just quietly blends in. Also, not covered with aggressive flashing lights--three subdued status LEDs, and you can even disable them if you want. The config software is impressive--it appears to have a full Synology-style OS, with a huge range of features going beyond just networking, if you're inclined to use it as a basic NAS or the like. Took a little while to get used to something so far beyond the simple setup pages of a lot of routers, but certainly powerful, and it also doesn't feel sluggish navigating around. The only possible complaint at this point is that the wired internet routing doesn't seem to be hitting quite the same speeds as I was getting using the cable company's router directly (maxing out at around 800Mbit instead of the ~900Mbit I've seen before), but it's really hard to say for sure whether this is this router's fault or the cable company's. 5 |
