HOLDS SECURELY. Works great for all of my flash drives. Some bulkier USB-A drives are VERY secure. My thinner USB-C flash drive still feels secure enough even though it slides in and out with less resistance than the type-A drives. SLEEVES. Note that the sleeves are open-ended elastic bands. You can slide contents out from either end. ROOMY-ISH. When all slots are full and the pouch is zipped up, the natural closed state is gentle, NOT one of forced compression. They're touching, but no drives will be squished. If you're concerned about drive-on-drive contact and want zero wiggle, there's enough room that you could fit a small pad in between the two sides before closing it up. 5 |

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly. 5 |

I just purchased a 2018 Macbook Pro and wanted an external hard drive for its Time Machine software. Came formatted for the Mac and worked without any drama or issues. The drive is boxes with a rather short USB type-C cable and a USB type-A dongle. C-cable fits tightly for a good connection. Ive used the dongle for some older Window devices without issue. I was using an older SanDisk Compact Flash reader and after buying a 2018 MacBook Pro w/ USB-C I thought I might see a an improvement in speed of transferring files from my Canon 5D MkIII media...Oh My Goodness this thing is lightning fast.
