I did a lot of research when replacing my existing non-HomeKit friendly security system with a HomeKit friendly one. It does require an existing ecobee thermostat as a hub, but since I've been using one in my house for years, it was a no-brainer for me. All the sensors only take minutes to install and configure, and they immediately show up as first-order members of your HomeKit environment, ready to take part in automations. ecobee's Smart Security add-on is a worthwhile upgrade, even if you don't go with a fully monitored solution. All-in-all an excellent product, easy to install, easy to use, just what you'd expect ecobee to be like! 5 |

Best, easy to use, WiFi HomeKit plug option I have found yet. Easy to setup and connect to. Their response time to commands thru Siri are quick and accurate. These plugs are small enough to allow other things to be plugged in at the same time without losing access to the whole plug. I Highly recommend these... I even ordered a second set of three after 2 weeks of use on my first three. 5 |

The setup is easy. The confusion is whether you start with homekit or the WeMo app. The instructions provided indicate to start with the Weibo app which then triggers a firmware update and adding to HomeKit automatically. This makes sense since HomeKit currently does not upgrade firmware directly. 5 |
