Best Security Camera For Remote Location

Used at remote camera location and is functioning correctly.

I have tried 3 different cellular security cameras. Best by far in quality and service.

I purchased this to relay the signal from a remote security camera. Some of the setup details weren't clear, at least to me, but the technical support was outstanding. Once I had a better understanding of the system the documentation and support videos are perfect for reviewing how to set up the system.

I use this as extra security when I put speedlites on remote clamps and also my camera when it is attached to my monopod (quick release). It is extremely flexible and unobtrusive. It is thinner than I thought it would be. Probable around 20 gauge or so. I suspect it will support around 4 lbs.

Built like a tank! If you ever place a camera or strobe in a remote location, you'll find this device one of the handiest pieces of equipment you'll ever own.

The only thing that I would like to see different is the location of the sensor on the camera, it seems to me it would be better if it were on the top of the camera where the remote could be used from the front or the rear of the camera. It's a small inconvenience, other than that it works great.

We have had the camera out in a remote location with intermittent signal and the camera still sends out great pics day and night.

I don't often have need of a remote shutter release, but in some product shot applications or location shots where I need the camera absolutely still due to lighting considerations, having a remote to press the shutter instead of potentially shaking the camera by using my hand, is a tool I must carry and have available. Being successful often means being preparred. This is a very small, lightweight, simple unit that honestly is perfect for my needs.
