I did a lot of research when replacing my existing non-HomeKit friendly security system with a HomeKit friendly one. It does require an existing ecobee thermostat as a hub, but since I've been using one in my house for years, it was a no-brainer for me. All the sensors only take minutes to install and configure, and they immediately show up as first-order members of your HomeKit environment, ready to take part in automations. ecobee's Smart Security add-on is a worthwhile upgrade, even if you don't go with a fully monitored solution. All-in-all an excellent product, easy to install, easy to use, just what you'd expect ecobee to be like! 5 |

I really enjoy the Ecobee Smart Cameras. The selling point for them was that they are HomeKit capabilities. The quality of the cameras are outstanding. They are sturdy and the picture quality is great. 5 |
