Best Slr Camera Film

I needed a heavier bag for medium format SLR film camera. This works well for it. 5 |

Best price for this film I could find (especially since the camera is now discontinued). 5 |

This is my first DSLR camera purchase (I had a film SLR years and years ago) and the remote shutter release is one of my favorite things about DSLRs! 5 |

I bought this camera to make the leap from a digital point and shoot to a digital SLR. I last used an old film SLR 10 yrs ago, so it'll be nice to see what I remember and learn even more about photography. I'm very happy the camera accepts AA lithium batteries and there is a lengthy printed operating manual too. Additionally, there are more than enough manual settings for my needs. Lastly, the price is right and was lowest on B&H! I haven't found any cons yet. 5 |

This is a fun way to learn the mechanics of an SLR film camera. Like LEGOs for grown-ups. 5 |

I haven't done photography with an SLR for 15-ish years with older film cams. For me, it was too much to take notes about what I did for which take and then wait for the film to develop to see the results. With digital and continuous preview, it's a lot easier to really get to know the camera in the moment and feel things out. This camera impresses me with its low light performance, and does just as nice video. The kit lens is okay for just getting started, but I can see myself wanting a little more, and will probably be swapping in the future. I got this while it was on sale, so I absolutely feel like it was a bargain, but after using it, I can say it's worth its regular price. My only issue is I wish it had a headphone jack. 5 |

It has been 30 years since I've used an SLR camera (the old kind with film - lol) so I'm basically starting all over. I grew tired of the lack of control with my digital cameras and decided to finally take the plunge and buy a DLSR. I loved how the Canon fit in my hand and how intuitive the controls seemed to be. I was able to use it right out of the gate and am getting better each time. I love the guidance offered on the LCD screen and also love that I can turn that off when I get really comfortable. I can't believe the difference in picture clarity between this camera and my old Canon Elph. The ability to adjust the focal points is one of the huge bonuses of the camera as well as the wifi. We used it this weekend to take some family photos that in past years involved running back and forth. I'm really happy with my purchase. 5 |

I have been using this camera for about 3 weeks now and boy do I love it. This is my second SLR camera (the first was film) and I am so happy with my purchase. As a beginner, I am just learning the ins and outs of digital photography. I am already getting some great shots right out the gate! I also really like the lightweight and slimmer design of the SL1. Its a little easier to travel with compared to a hulky DSLR and I am also able to comfortably hold it in one hand (but i dont really do that). I love this camera and would recommend it to any beginner who is looking for a solid all around intro DSLR that is lightweight and a little more easier to carry/transport than some of the other larger models out there 5 |

I never used an instant film camera before and I have always been digital SLR user. However, I really like the look of the Rolleiflex camera and always wanted one. While I was shopping around for an instant camera, I saw this camera which looks very much like a Rolleiflex so I bought it. I am very happy and having fun shooting with this camera. It is not just point and shoot, you still need to make some adjustment to get what you want, but that is the beauty of photography! 5 |

This is my first upgrade from film to SLR digital camera. There are so many buttons and controls that I felt a little overwhelmed. This video is basic enough to get anyone started but intermediate enough so that if you are familiar with depth of field, ISO, shutter speed you will understand very quickly all the features of this camera. 5 |
