I almost bought a Princeton but glad I didn’t even without the price difference. This is great for anything from “bedroom” to gigs and for most genres. It’s also about as small and light as you can get and still have a 12” speaker. The tone is full and deep. The cleans are amazing with each guitar sounding like the guitar and not so much the amp. Lots of headroom. It also has a full range of breakup from barely to great overdrive. At any volume. Having been a Fender fan for years I am reverb addicted. Not much difference between spring on my Boss pedal and this amp’s except for depth which stops before you feel wet. It’s pleasant and adequate. I plugged in my studio monitor headphones to try the cabinet emulated out and it does sound great. Maybe even better. It does have a lot of low end especially in the house. To get rid of that with the single tone control I just dialed it up and used the guitar tone controls to tame treble if needed. If you want a small, light, Swiss Army knife amp with great tone and reasonable price this is worth a look. 5 |

I've owned this power amp for about 4 years now. I use it for guitar though. I run a small tube amp into a dummy load then into a tube EQ and FX unit and into this amp. I can get the best sounds I have ever had at any volume as the tube amp is cranked up all the time. I'm not sure if the other user has a defective unit or not but I have never even noticed the fan even when I am home alone in my living room and turn the thing on. I've tried a couple of other power amps and this one seemed to have the best clarity and sound but again I am using it for guitar but I will add that I am an extremely picky tone fanatic! 5 |

For small combo work with a hollow-body jazz guitar, this amp has a great clean tone and in small rooms plenty of power even at its 40 watt rating. It must be extremely efficient because I have yet to go beyond 1 on the volume. 5 |

Was looking for a small amp to use with my acoustic guitar and dynamic mic for singing at outdoor events. This is quite portable, sounds great and is easy to use. Fishman was the brand recommended by my songwriting instructor. Saved some money thanks to a special sale. Very pleased. 5 |

I have a small project studio and my main guitar amp is a vintage 1967 Fender Princeton guitar amp. Before purchasing this microphone, I miced it with a classic Sennheiser 409 which records great tone but I wanted something a with a little more high end, enter the MK 4. The MK 4 adds a nice dimension to the 409 and I mix them both together to capture the Princeton the way I want it. It also did not break the bank. 5 |

Perfect, portable, mic stand for a guitar amp. Fit's in a guitar case or in a small mic case. it's great. Only thing easier, is to sling my e906 over the top of the amp ! go for a GoPro too ! 5 |
