Best digital camera, when not convenient to carry Canon's larger DSLRS. 28mm to 100mm zoom. 8fps shooting capable. Canon Digit 7 processor. Has built-in popup flash for night shooting. Outstanding image quality. Fast 1.8 - 2.8f stop lens. Latest NFC and WI-FII Connections. 5 |

Incredibly small, but incredibly powerful. The camera is simple to use as a point-and-shoot, but has the capability to give the photographer much more control over how the photos are taken, if desired. The menus follow the same basic format used by Canon on most of its digital cameras, and so they are very simple to navigate especially if you own other Canon digital products. The camera takes great photos, tack sharp. I would recommend this camera for anyone who wishes to have a handy camera in their pocket that is easier to use than a cell phone camera. 5 |

I purchased this product for a Canon D10 underwater digital Camera. I was looking for a bag that would not ruin if it got wet, was in the sun or on the beach. This bag is small and has a draw string to pull the pouch closed. It also has a clip attached to the bag that makes it easily attachable to a backpack, messenger briefcase or belt loops. It's small, compact, soft and inexpensive. It is not crush proof so I would not recommend it for a camera or equipment that is not too rugged. The Canon D10 is waterproof and shockproof so this was a perfect fit to protect it from scratches and other dings, while providing it with a protective carrying case. For the Price you cannot go wrong. 5 |

This is simply a superb little camera. Just when you think Canon couldn't possibly out do itself they surprise you with a nice little gem like this SD780. The camera is exceedingly small, yet if you look at the specs for the dimensions it pretty much sizes up with a few other tiny digital point and shoots. But the smooth rounded styling and lack of any protrusions make it look and feel smaller that its stats would suggest. Personally, I prefer the all black finish. And the best thing is that Canon has still managed to keep the optical viewfinder no matter how small the camera seems to get! I don't really see a big difference, however in the 12.2 megapixels as opposed to only 5mp in the older SD400 and SD30 cameras. I like to shoot at ISO 80 whenever possible and especially in black & white, but that's just me. At this speed rating the picture quality is outstanding. The only real drawback is that noise begins to show up rather quickly at around 200 ISO and pretty much goes downhill from there. If visual noise is a trade off for more pixels, I think I would rather have fewer pixels and less noise. The HD video quality is also quite remarkable although I only used it a couple of times. This is a real great pocket camera to take along wherever you go. It's picture quality and performance leave the competition in the dust that even my digital SLR stays home collecting!! 5 |
