Purchased extra RAM to speed up the use of photo editing software. Seems to be helping.

I love this product which offers a sophisticated photo editing program along with cloud based viewing. There are instructional videos included for learning which I do not recall being connected to the software in the past. Adobe photo processing software is the standard in software and it's price is affordable. What more could anyone want?

My hands shake too much for editing fine photo details with a mouse. I tried software to mitigate the tremors, but wasn't happy with the results. But with the Kensington trackball, I can do everything I need to do. Not having to grip the mouse reduces the tremors, the large ball makes fine control easier, and the customizable software lets me fine tune the trackball behavior for each software program. I love being able to set different scroll speeds for websites vs. word processing vs. photo editing. It's pricey, but really well made and attractive. Uses less space than the mouse and with far more pointing accuracy thanks to customization.

Everyone has heard of Photoshop but Lightroom, maybe not. Lightroom is by far the best photo editing software out there. Take some courses online and you'll quickly see it's power. It's not super great for organizing however, I use Adobe Bridge for that.

My only need for photo editing software is stitching photomosaics. I have only used Affinity a short time, but it works as smoothly and as well as Photoshop at a greatly reduced (one-time payment) price.

I got this Lenovo from B&H a few months ago. I needed the specs for my photo editing software (ON1 Photoraw) and it handles everything with no problem at all. Also I use it as a remote video editing computer with DaVinci Resolve 19 and again it has the power to perform flawlessly. The screen is excellent, it has all the variety of ports I need, including an SD card slot. The battery life is the best I've had. I can work in a coffeehouse as long as I want and not worry about finding an outlet, and generally I set it to the 80% conservation mode for charging. The computer is really thin and feels solid. It's a 16 screen but it will fit into bags designated for 15 laptops because the screen goes to within about 1/8 inch of the edges. I carry mine in a 15 Nutsac waxed canvas bag.
