I wanted something to use with my m4/3 camera for some video work...hand held vlogging and putting it on a table for other shots...I wanted something light and versatile and this GPod seems to be a good choice. I have no idea how well it will hold up over time but it seems solid and well made so my hopes are high.

This is a great microphone for vlogging, especially on a smaller, mirrorless camera. I use this mic with my Sony a6400. I use a smallrig cage setup, so it doesn’t block the flip up screen. I really like this mic for vlogging because you don’t have to worry about turning it off and on, or dying because it doesn’t take a battery. Small & compact, but very effective.
