For me, this was an addition to the Soundbar 500 I just placed in the master bedroom. More than enough bass for this use and that pure, Bose sound. Very pleased.

I bought this couple of weeks back to pair with Soundbar 500 and Bass Module 500. I’m in love with these speakers. It’s definitely better than the normal surround speakers. I’m absolutely enjoying it. The only grouse I have with these speakers is with the adapter. The tiny screws that hold the wires from the wireless receiver are very delicate. One of the screw was already clipped when I opened it out of the box and hence was unusable. I immediately reported it to the customer care and they were kind enough to ship me spare adapters. I suggest Bose to make these screws more rugged so that it won’t get damaged so easily. Other than this, they are flawless set of speakers. Even though they are advertised to be paired with 700 series, they work very well with 500 series.

These surround speakers are fabulous. We have the Bose Base 500 and Soundbar and these are the perfect addition to those products. The sound is clear and precise. The great thing about these speakers is they complement any sound system or more importantly you can use by themselves. Another great aspect of these speakers is the design. They are small and really blend in with the room. It’s amazing how much sounds is packed into these little guys. The setup is so easy and quick. It took us 10 minutes to pair everything together and get them going. If you are in the market for a mind blowing set of surround sound speakers, then these are them.

Just make sure to calibrate the soundbar to your room with the settings to get it dialed in. It has 5.1 surround with Dolby Atmos. Listening to movies can be heard very clearly with dialogue enhancement technology integrated on the soundbar. Amazingly, sounds can also be heard from different angles without any rear surround speakers.The soundbar does have front and side firing speakers, but I noticed no up-firing speakers. It does connect via hdmi E-Arc and has an additional hdmi input, ethernet, usb, and optical input. However, I wish there was an additional HDMI input on the soundbar. Overall, the 10-inch subwoofer, clarity, Dolby Atmos, and punchy base do make up for an immersive sound experience. This soundbar can definitely put out some power. A whopping 590 watts total can be heard when you raise the volume with no distortion. Plus, using the JBL app and listening to music is very impressive with clear highs and lows and a boomy base from the sub. With the JBL One app, you can customize your own personal settings and connect it via WIFI. I like that you can link your voice assistant device and ask to stream your music to the soundbar. The JBL bar 500 is an excellent soundbar with great sound and base that can fill a room when watching movies or listening to music in a convenient package.

The Bose Bass Module 500 is a very punchy and superb sound bass module for the compact size it comes in. The design is very sharp and clean looking, blends in tidy with my setup. Unboxing this product is fairly simple and straight forward process. Setting up an connecting it to the Soundbar 500 is a very easy process done in the Bose Connect app. The build quality feels very sturdy and well built out of premium materials. The sound quality is excellent, it accompanies the Soundbar 500 brilliantly providing very clear and accurate sound in different scenarios from listening to music to watching movies. Adjusting the level of bass is very easy again using the Bose connect app. I would highly recommend this product if you are thinking of buying the Soundbar 500 because it accompanies the soundbar superbly. To summarize the design is very sleek and build quality feels very sturdy and long lasting. This is a great companion to the Bose Soundbar 500 because it provides a real boom to music and movies.
