Best headphones I own. 5 |

I have had these headphones for almost 10 years. In these 10 years, they have been THE BEST headphones I have used for mixing. I have used a bunch of headphones and studio monitors in that time, and nothing has beat them out, not even the infamous Sony 7506 (given, cheaper, but more prevalent headphones in studios) Things to note with these headphones; they are not super low end present. If you are getting these to listen to consumer music, you may not like them because they are not "boomy" or "full". These headphones are for users who are looking for definition and clarity for making a solid mix. The other note is a MINOR complaint; the part of the headset that rests on the top of your head/hair has worn out for me. The muffs also wore out, but I replaced them. If there is a way to replace the foam under the band, please let me know because I would love to have them looking brand new again. I broke the cable that came with the headphones by accidentally vacuuming it about 2 years in (stupid, I know), but the detachable cable saved me some money. Also nice if you want to swap out different size cables. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to invest in headphones for studio mixing. 5 |

I use this model for monitoring and mixing in my studio. These headphones are the best I have ever used and goes right along in the same category as the SM57 microphones. Best sound and amazing price for the performance! 5 |

Saw these headphones listed as PC Magazine's Best for Affordable Studio Headphones, and I totally agree. I haven't used them for any studio stuff, but they're great for gaming and streaming. Very pleased with what you get for the price. Comfortable, great sound, and cool features (can plug into the left or right side, plug has a lock on it, comes with color bands to identify each chord, adjustable head band). 5 |

After a/b'ing several headphones, these ones were the most responsive over a greater range of frequencies. I would listen to pink noise, do a sweep-able EQ and was able to hear changes all the way down near 100 hz or thereabouts, while the major competing headphones in this range didn't seem to hear any change past about 250 or 300 hz. They don't fold up as small as the major competitor's, but that's a small price to pay for an additional octave or 2 of good response. 5 |

I was looking for a reasonably priced headphone set to use with my Roland D-50 synth and Boss BR-600 digital recorder. The Roland RH-5 at less than forty dollars seemed like a logical choice based on past experience with other gear from this manufacturer. Actually though, I made the decision to purchase the RH-5 headphones because of the wide frequency response specification (10-22,000 Hz) for this model. Other brand headphones in this price range offer a much more narrow range (usually 18-20,000 Hz) so the Roland RH-5 is definitely a little better suited than some for use with electronic instruments and when monitoring live recordings. It turns out they are equally great for just listening to music on an MP3 player as well. These headphones are very comfortable to wear and provide excellent sound quality for the money. The gold plated stereo mini plug and 1/4 inch phone plug adaptor is a nice convenience feature too. 5 |

I finally busted my studio cans and needed a new set fir mixing. B&H always seems to have the stuff I need at the best prices, and in stock, and can get it to me very soon. These headphones exposed noise and distortion in my basic tracks that I couldn't hear on my other cans. Very accurate down below 20 Hz ( they spec at 5 Hz !) and clear at upper frequencies. They wear easily with minimal fatigue even after several hours. Another perfect purchase from B&H. 5 |

My studio is small, so this is plenty of low end to complement my 8320A tops. The extension down to 22 Hz helps me clean up LF content I wouldn't have noticed on my old monitors. GLM is fun and easy to use. My latest mixes are holding up really well out in the wild! 5 |
