I have two Era 100 speakers in the kitchen. I wasn't sure if the Sub mini was worth the cost. I purchased it , set it up, and was surprised how it finished the sound in the room. I'm happy with the purchase.

I have mine with my Sonos Arc with the Era 100 and one Sub mini. I turned off the fake Atmos and just have 5.1 sound and it's great. Best sound bar I have ever had. I went thru a lot of them. Sonos needs to have true ceiling speakers to be used as Atmos along with the other speakers. Having front and rear high speakers. Front left and right along with the Arc sound bar. Wow

We use these as the rear speakers along with the Arc and Sub also a pair of 100's in our living room with the TV , also to listen to music.

Sub $100 softboxes I tend to by shy of. I wanted a budget box that can be used for travel with the secondary rig. This one was nicer than expected and in part due to it being able to use hotlights in. The heavier fabric and interior lend themselves well IMO. Obviously time will tell. Silver lined boxes develop a bit more contrast. What I shoot with a white interior is about 1/2-1 stop in light less depending on shape. That varies with the internal diffuser affixed too. This extends about 18 when mounted up into a strobe and if the grid is in place adds about 1.5-2 more to the depth. If your area is big, no worries.  Id have liked this in a shallow version with grid.  Not a complaint,  the direction is very nice and controllable so YMMV.  The included grid is icing and does well to direct and reduce spill. Id definitely be inclined to buy more of the Impact Duo type boxes. Ill likely get a second. A test shot to gauge light properties:

The Sub Mini was the last addition to a Beam and 2 Era 100 combination I have had for a little while. It has added a fullness to what was already good sound. I use this surround sound system for TV and music and am very happy with the results, especially considering the incredible advantage of not needing wires!

We live in a small 100+ year old Bungalow and had a Beam, Sub and two Ones for surround. I replaced the Beam with an Arc and all I can say is WOW what a difference. So glad I upgraded. The Beam will get relegated to our guest room.
