I needed a 15 amp cable for a surge protector/power conditioner for my plasma t.v. It's the perfect length and ratings.

This thing is a beast. It's not so much a surge protector as it is a smallish power conditioner. It's hard to tell if you've never seen one, but it is about 3' long. If space is a premium and you don't need clean power, this may not be the droid you're looking for. If you can spare it, and aren't frightened by the price tag (which is entirely reasonable for what you're getting), then I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Electrical power spikes occur for many reasons and your sensitive electronics won't survive unless you have a quality surge suppressor. This Surge Protector is the perfect size for behind my TV. I love that it has an outlet on top and botton for my bigger plugs and also the end outlet can accommodate a bigger longer plug as well. The last surge protector I had did not have them and my bigger plugs would cover up multiple oulets. I love that it has a small green power light and a small red grounded light so that you know it is working. If you need a 7 outlet surge protector look no further.
