One of the smartest investments I’ve made in my hiking, trail running journey. This is peace of mind guys. Really simple service plans, easy to use, and great customer service. I don’t know how I hiked without one before. Your cell phone can only do so much. Once service is out of reach you need another way to stay connected. Invest in your safety and get one of these devices.

The brightness and chest-strap make this the perfect trail running light. It takes a bit of an effort to set it up on the chest harness and get it to mode 3 so the light doesn't dim automatically, but once you've done that it's a winner.

I've had this camera set up and running on my property for several weeks now, and have only good things to say. I picked this up for a remote means of monitoring farmland without utilities on it, since I've had a string of vandalisms - hoping this will catch the culprits, or at least deter future unwanted visitors. It's remarkably small, blends in well when mounted high in a tree, and has a mount of the back to add a cable lock (making it harder to steal). I looked at TONS of different trail cams before landing on this one, and glad I did. It was easier than expected to set up, connects and sends photos it captures to my phone only minutes after it triggers, and the transmitted image quality is pretty decent. Battery life seems like it'll do well based on what I've seen thus far. They give you a complimentary month of unlimited photo transmissions to your phone, which is nice, but undecided whether I'll be paying the $10-15/mo after that for the feature. You do need to spend some time refining the environment around the camera when mounting in a tree, as at first the branches hanging nearby would blow around and falsely trigger the camera. Once I got those all clipped away, I've had fewer issues with false triggers. I am impressed by how sensitive it is to far-away movement as well - I tested it on several occasions walking by the capture zone at various distances, and it did well capturing my movements on foot and in a vehicle at 60-80ft, taking two photos of each instance with staggered delay of several seconds. Overall, this is a great trail camera, and I'm considering adding another for improved security measures on land that's at the mercy of the neighbors when I'm away.

I use this camera as a cycling / trail running camera. While not the intended use, its small size and weight paired with a relatively large sensor and sharp wide lens make it almost perfect for my use. The lack of viewfinder has been a struggle particularly in bright sunlight or with polarized sunglasses on but otherwise a great camera.

I got this for trail running as there are times when I'm in areas without cell service. Paired with my fenix, I never have to take it out of my pack (in a top exterior pocket). Now there is a lot less anxiety at home because my husband can basically see where I am at all times.
