Best Tv Mount For Sloped Ceiling

I needed an adapter to bring the down rod for a sloped ceiling mounted projector to vertical. The company I purchased my golf simulator from recommended this adapter. This heavy duty adapter did the trick perfectly. The female end fit the threads on my separately purchased down rod. The adapter includes a little stub threaded piece to screw in to hold the down rod in place after tightening to desired position. I bought the white (also offered in black) adapter which looks good on my white ceiling. The down rod is black so it could be OK with either color. Also the adapter tube is hollow so that the USB cord could possibly be run inside through the down rod. My cord did not accommodate that routing so I zip tied the cords to the down rod.

it's bigger than I thought it would be and beefy built. the only thing it needs is another pivot for when the glass where you wish to mount is sloped, so you can level the top of mount. I put mine on driver side window and shoot out window.

It comes with easy to read instructions, but you will definitely want some help to install as I found it to be a two person job. Also when choosing where to place you mount in the ceiling, make sure to measure out enough space for it to flip up and down. I used this to mount a TV in my motor home. The old TV was basically in a box attached to the ceiling between driver and co-pilot seats. Attached mount to floor of this "box", and held TV outside of this box (as it was a larger TV). Works great, held TV firmly. Ordered a second one for my other RV today.

And when I contacted the company for help on something that came up they had excellent customer service on the phone. I had a contractor help me install. It was too hard for me alone. I sped up the video of the tv going up and down.

Perfect mount for our situation. We can rotate TV between kitchen and dining room. Ceiling mount got the TV off the counter, freeing up counter space. We've had this mount for about 2 years and we love it. I just ordered another one to mount a TV in the basement.

Had a ($500) ceiling hanging mount from 7 years ago and the new TV mounting holes are a new pattern. This adapter worked great to save me having to buy another ceiling mount.
