Best Type Of Acoustic Guitar Strings For Beginners

I have been using this mic to record acoustic guitar. On rhythm tracks I set it up on a stand about 24-30 away from the guitar, while using a Shure KSM137 at the sound hole, recoding two tracks at the same time. The room I am recording in is quite large with high ceilings, so the acoustics of the room are quite good for this type of set up. On finger picking or more lead type tracks. I move it closer in, pointed toward the bridge. In both roles the sound capture of the mic is neutral to a bit warm. It is doing exactly what I wanted to. Can't ask for more than that. Solidly built. I don't think you will get a better mic for the price. Of course B&H service is always excellent.

Great mic for acoustic guitar and vocals

I vacillated over which mic I should buy to pair up with my acoustic guitar and my Fender Acoustic Junior amp. This turned out to be ideal.

I will be using this for recording vocals, instruments (bass, trumpet, guitar, sax) and synth (strings, piano, etc.). Having tried it on synth samples thus far, it adds a mellowing and pleasing analog feel to the recording quality. Excellent manufacturing and presentation.

This is a beautiful ukulele. I'm a novice at ukulele (although I've played guitar before) and want to try learning this. The first few songs I've learned have a nice tone. The tuning doesn't seem quite as stable as my steel-stringed guitar, so I need to tune it a bit more at the start of each session, although that may be something that's inherent with nylon strings. Regarding the strings, though, the feel of them is nice, and my fingers aren't all calloused yet, the way they get when I play the guitar frequently. As for price, you can't beat this, especially with the package deal. Get it.

I've been working as a guitar teacher for decades and have always used D'Addario strings on all my guitars because of their consistently good quality and balanced tone. I was looking for a cheap guitar with laminate construction that I could take on trips, camping, etc. This guitar received many favorable reviews on many sites and for the price there was no reason not to give it a try. The guitar was delivered in good condition with reasonable action, strings in good condition and tuners, while not high quality, keep the strings reasonably in tune. I did adjust the action and changed strings, which improved playability and sound. The finish is on the low end but I'm fine with it. The sound is pleasantly good. It is not tonally full or as resonant as guitars at a higher price point, but isn't that expected? I'm quite surprised by how good this guitar is and its $79.99 delivered. It will be a great travel / camping guitar. I order another one just because it's cheap, plays well and sounds fine for my intended use of this guitar.
