[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really excellent smaller Samsung TV, and can be used both as a regular TV or a computer monitor. The unboxing and set up took less than 5 minutes from beginning to end. I plugged it in, connected it to WiFi, downloaded a software update, and downloaded all my streaming apps like Netflix and HBO Max. The Samsung TV has a very high quality picture and sound at 4K, plus for pictures, videos, movies, or tv shows that are not originally at 4K the TV automatically converts the picture quality up to 4K, which is awesome ! No issues at all so far with either sound or video, everything works really really well and it's very high quality for a smaller tv. I would recommend this 100% to anyone who doesn't really need a huge living room tv, or for anyone who needs a better computer monitor. 100% excellence from Samsung !

I'm not a professional photographer or graphic artist but I dabble in both fields as an advanced amateur. I have paired this monitor with a Mac Studio, 32GB RAM, 10 Core CPU, 24 Core GPU computer. I couldn't be happier with both the computer and the monitor. Up until this setup I was using the Retina 27 iMac. This setup blows that away. I read a lot about scaling issues with 32 monitors paired with Macs as well as issues with less than crisp type. I have had no issues with either of those with this monitor. I've tried all the resolution settings that the Mac Studio offers me and several of the scaling options worked well for me. The default setting of 3840X2160 resulted in icons and type being too small for my taste. I ultimately settled on 3200X1800. All the type is crisp and clear. Even a 0.1 pt. pencil line in my graphics program (Affinity Designer) when is crisp and clear at 100% as well as 3,000%. I read another reviewers problem with traveling bloom as the mouse moves across a gray or white background. I have no problems with that issue. No traveling bloom on my system. I do notice a very slight change in a white background when I move my head back and forth across the screen as the other reviewer noted. It does not bother me. I rarely move my head in that way when using the monitor so I don't consider it an issue. You may. The only real issue I have, and this seems to be a common problem when pairing anything other than an Apple monitor with an Apple computer, is the lag time when waking up the monitor and/or computer from sleep. I was used to an immediate wakeup with the iMac. This system takes at least 5 seconds to wake up. However, it's not something that would keep me from buying this monitor since I think I would have the same problem with any other external monitor that was not an Apple product. In summary, I think this is great monitor. I would buy it again and would recommend it to my family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Samsung M5 Smart Monitor! Ive had it for 2 years. I initially used it as a computer monitor, then hung it on the wall as a small TV, and now just recently I took it back down and pit it on my desk to use as a computer monitor! At 32" it preforms well at both, and happens to be very roomy as a desktop monitor! I love that it has miracast so you can use it for wireless DeX (found on S series phones & tablets to create a desktop expirence), you can also use as a wireless display for windows! I actually prefer HDMI so I can do HD content, music (on the amazing speakers), and have a very quick response time! Wireless it still happens to be very fast! This is not a touchscreen monitor, and I don't want it to be, it would not make much sense! Also this thing goes plenty bright, and has eye saver features. I like that you can download apps and use as a smart tv too. This also doubles as a smartthings hub if you are looking for that as a feature. Really I couldn't ask for anything more from a monitor!! Pros: Bright Large Smartthings hub Has miracast Tons of settings Smart TV too! Great Speakers! Cons: Only one I can think of, and it is that there seems to be a lack of customization features for the monitor UI, just something I noticed and it is a personal preference. This doesn't take away from my 5 stars, it wouldn't discourage me from buying a second one, it also wouldn't discourage me from telling anyone reading this review, DEFINITELY BUY THIS MONITOR TOTALLY WORTH IT!

My previous monitor didn’t have HDR so it was tough to see what I was editing until I uploaded it and watched it on a TV. This monitor has HDR so I can actually see what I’m editing correctly. This monitor is 1440p so I can see images nice and clearly and has a 165Hz refresh rate so games look amazing on it. On top of that, you can overclock the monitor to display at 185Hz which makes it even faster. I always plug my computer into a monitor using DisplayPort because it supports the highest frame rate and the monitor’s G-SYNC technology which reduces screen tearing when frame rates are higher. It also supports FreeSync if you have an AMD graphics card. This monitor is a monster in size at 32”. It is practically a small TV, perfect for streaming Netflix and Hulu. The Netflix Windows app even let me watch in HDR! You can also plug a USB cable from the monitor to your computer and use the high-speed USB ports on the monitor. The monitor comes with cables too, so you don’t need to go out and purchase a DisplayPort cable or an HDMI cable to use those features. It can also rotate 90 degrees to give you a smart phone orientation, if you are more comfortable with that for work documents in multiple windows.
