Best Underwater Ice Fishing Camera For Murky Water

A must have if you're using an under water camera while ice fishing.

This product was ordered for my friend for ice fishing with his Aqua View underwater camera. He is happy with the purchase and says it was a great buy.

I got these for Christmas and had planned mostly to use them out in cottage country where cel reception is spotty. Used them when I was ice fishing and walking the dogs to communicate with my wife back at the cottage. Actual range in dense forest was about 1 mile, but on the lake ice fishing, I had perfect communications and did not reach their range. I even lost one while traversing a rough ice patch (fell and lost it) and found it 3 hours later after getting the other walkie and using the call feature! It survived a 3 hour freeze below a few layers of broken ice and snow at -11°C and still worked beautifully. Very happy with them!

This unit works great for ice fishing. It sits high enough where the motor doesn't get wet in the slush around the ice hole. Seem less ordering process and fast processing/shipping.

Took the Kanteen ice fishing with hot coffee at 6a.m. in my ice tent at -20 degrees F. At 8 a.m hot, at 10 a.m. still hot, at noon steamy hot, at 2p.m. still steamy, and at 4 p.m. last cup warm. Time to go home. Thank you for coming along Kanteen.

I do wet collodion photography and in the past have tried using an ice-fishing tent as my mobile darkroom, but it had no floor and wasn't designed for easy set up and take down. The Ilford Pop-Up darkroom can be set up in under 10 minutes and is truly light tight.

I really like the pop-up sippy! Keeps ice water cold for days!

I used this bag for two seasons of fine art shooting underwater. It made literally thousands of 30-40 second dives from 3-10 foot. Stayed in my hand as a swam around so it often got a huge amount of tugging, yanking and water pressure against it from odd angles. Eventually the seam where the zip lock closure and the side of the bag comes together leaked. The leak was VERY small and what it showed up as was a fog building up inside the bag. NOT a spray of water onto my camera! I have now ordered two more and I noticed that the company seems to have reinforced that junction of side seam & top opening closure on the new ones. I would suggest that you be mindful of putting a lot of pressue on the junction as you load the camera into and out of the bag. I am delighted with the performance value as compared to the pricing. Not all camera functions are easy to get to but the price is RADICALLY less than the full function deep rated hard cases for my camera. Since I do not go below 15 on any of my fine art dives, I don't really need the depth rating anyway. I found this to be an excellent value for the tool it hands me to to do my art underwater.
