Best Universal Remote App For Windows Phone

This is really a backup device for me. I normally use the remote on my phone through Leica Fotos App.

Best features for the price range. Easy installation, can be controlled by your phone app or with Alexa.

I love the lights and you cn operate them using a phone app, however, I prefer to use the dedicated remote. Simple, clean, no fuss, no muss. I have gone so far as to buy one for each head. I control them independently instead of groups. It makes my studio far more productive as attire and needs change frequently during the day.

I mainly got this because I roam remote areas alone, sometimes without a cell signal. I like its tracking ability, although I have a tracking app also on my phone. My friends can view my whereabouts on either MapShare or the tracking app, which I like. I use my phone as a topo mapping device, with downloaded maps so phone signal doesn't matter. I carry the little Mini-2 everywhere. I am still on a learning curve using the Explore app, but getting better.

Does the trick. Note that if you're connected to your phone via the SnapBridge app, you'll need to disconnect that so your remote can connect via Bluetooth.

I like using this wired remote when I am taking landscapes or night pictures and the camera is on a tripod. It reduces camera shake to be able to hold the remote and not have to push the shutter button or set a timer. Even though I am using this with a Canon 6D which has wifi and an app that I can use with my phone, this is just quicker and I am looking through my camera and not on my cell phone. I also have a wireless remote which is also much simplier then the smartphone app.

Great light for almost any purpose. High quality, remote usability with the phone app. Super portable. Can't be without one now.

Bought this to connect a large Universal Audio rig to my new Windows DAW Workstation. Two 8 core UA Satelites, 2 Apollo 8p's, and and Apollo Twin mkii Quad, all Thunderbolt 2. Simply connected this to my workstation and the end of the Thunderbolt 2 chain to this and everything worked well.

Nice to know if one of many doors and windows are open using the ecobee app. with the sensors.
