I used to have a usb hub, the laptop charger and a monitor. The new monitor with a single usb-c cable both charges my mac and allows for the monitor connection. The usb hub is there in case i need to connect a usb key or something extra. If it also had a camera and mike built in it would be amazing (i got the camera separately). I'm very happy with it.

My Dell XPS 13 usually complains when I plug in its charger through a USB C hub with PD, but with this it works perfectly. Plus powers all my other devices that are connected to the hub. A big plus is that the guys at B&H shipped it to me across the world to Mauritius and it was a great experience. Highly recommended!

This charger works exactly as advertised. You can never have too many USB-A charging ports, so this is an excellent addition for me. This hub is a perfect remedy for charging multiple devices that charge through a USB-A, which is a bunch of things I own. I love that it charges intelligently, and automatically avoids overvoltage issues and includes overheating protection. This puts my mind at ease. I have yet to use all the ports at once, which is a good thing, and probably because this comes with a robust 12 slots. Each port supplies 2.4amps and the specs say you can connect to all 12 USB ports at once. If you hit 60 total watts, it will automatically throttle the charge to 1amp for safety reasons. Which is also good for protection/safety reasons. This is great to have for a charging station on location or in your home/office. With today's electronics, I feel like I am constantly charging through USB-A so this hub is very helpful. Another overlooked thing I like about this charger is that it has a regular ac plug and cord and does not have a big ac/dc brick to plug into the wall. That makes it very convenient and adds to its ease of use. The build quality feels good. The ports themselves seem well made and every USB-A I've plugged into it had a good fit that was not too tight, but also not too loose. This hub has been working flawlessly for me and is a nice addition to my charging station. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]
