The miniature hi-intensity light is ideal for the keychain, readily available when needed (especially on dog walks after dark).

Because I have a dog, kids, a nosy cat, and shoot around food a lot, I feel the need for a lens protection filter. I know that the photo world is divided about these things, but if you're on the pro-filter side, this is a great piece of glass. It seems to do its job without interfering with the resolution of the lens. Worth it, for me. YMMV.

As -- no, better -- than my Leatherman. Highly recommended. Perfect for removing cactus spines from my horses and dog, among other things.

This lens hood was recommended by the sales associate for food photography. Quality seems good and works great!

I'm an amateur photographer and most of my camera work is done at dog shows. I had been very frustrated with shooting movement shots, especially in low-light conditions that are common for indoor dog shows. Using a flash is not an option. A professional photographer friend who frequents dog shows had previously recommended I buy a Nikon D7100, which has been a good purchase. I asked him about the low-light issue and he recommended the Sigma 50-100mm f/1.8 Arts Lens. After several months of using the lens and taking thousands of frames, I couldn't be happier. Yes, it's heavy, but that's the price you pay for a lot of glass in the lens. So, being no longer a youngster, I have to be careful to brace myself or use a tripod or monopod. But, the movement shots I've been able to take have me very excited and I've received a lot of complements from fellow dog show people. I'm looking forward to experimenting with it as I crank up the ISO. I don't believe this lens is designed to be used on full frame cameras, but I strongly recommend it for those of you with a DX format camera.
