I have an original Nexus 7 tablet that I wanted to use to view my recently taken photos. I wanted somthing other than a laptop. I bought a mirco-USB OTG cable and downloaded the Nexus Media Importer. With this flash reader, I can now plug the SD card from the camera into the reader, connect the reader to the tablet with the OTG cable and view my pictures on the tablet. Very nice for sharing. By removing the pictures from the camera, I do not have to power the camera to view them. I take DNG RAW pictures and they appear instantly as I move from one to the other. This arrangement works very well! 5 |

I am not an intense tablet user but do it one for spot removal and basic stuff. I worried that the footprint would be too small but it seems just right for a busy desk. Software did require so massaging to get it right with my iMac running OS 11.6.1 but its all good after a bit of configuring. The unusual color is less an issue that I though, hardly notice it now. Excellent value! 5 |
