I recently started to record a Pilates and wellness vlog so I can upload them to youtube. I got a DSLR camera for it, but the sound quality from the camera sounded far and pretty noisy since I do teh vlog mostly outdoor. Adding the JOBY shotgun mic fixed it! My voice sounds even and smooth. I wish that mic was good for an iPhone too ( I received this product in exchange for my honest review) Adding the JOBY shotgun mic fixed it! This mic is fantastic for my vlog online. My viewers love the difference in my audio. Mic is cheap and has 20 ft. cord. Great for interviews outside. Doesn't need phantom power to operate. Batteries are the small watch type and a 3 pack is $ at @. 5 |

I use the microphone to record episodes for my podcast and vlog. I love the look and weight of the mic. The mic its self is quite big for my liking but the audio out of its is very good for the price you pay for it. If you are looking to Vlog or just upgrade your audio this would be a great item for you. I would not recommend this if you want a professional audio sound out of a shotgun mic, to that i would say get the pro version. 5 |
